What is the relationship between theory and research, according to<br> c. wright mills?
Fofino [41]

I believe the answer is: Theory without research is abstract and empty.

Theory is created from abstract thinking that we use to generalize  the data at hand and use it as an Explanation for a certain occurence. Without research, theory is basically just personal opinion, without any form of empirical data to back it up.
