What is the maximum mass of S8 that can be produced by combining 77.0 g of each reactant?
g100num [7]
The balanced equation is
<span>8SO2 + 16H2S ----> 3S8 + 16H2O
</span>so
77g SO2 / 64g/mole = 1.203moles  of SO2
<span>77g H2S / 34g/mole = 2.26moles  of H2S
</span>now

<span>1.203 moles SO2 yields 3/8x amount that is = 0.456moles  of S8
</span>so
<span>2.06moles H2S yields 3/16x amount = 0.386moles of S8
</span>hence
H2S = produce  only 0.386moles  of S8 = 98.98g S8

How does pH relate to ocean acidification? <br><br><br>How does CO2 and pH in the ocean relate?
Alex17521 [72]

Answer:

When carbon dioxide dissolves in seawater, the water becomes more acidic and the ocean's pH (a measure of how acidic or basic the ocean is) drops. ... In fact, the shells of some animals are already dissolving in the more acidic seawater, and that's just one way that acidification may affect ocean life.

Change the wording a bit otherwise hoping ti helps

How do organelles function together in cellular processes?
nekit [7.7K]

The cell is made up of different organelles, which work together in order to ensure that the biochemical activities, which keep the cell alive run smoothly. Lets take the eukaryotic cell for example: the cell is made up of many organelles and each organelle has a particular function that it carries out, this function complements the functions of other cell organelles.

For instance, for protein synthesis to occur, many organelles has to work together, these include: nucleus, DNA, ribosomes, cytoplasm, smooth endoplasmic reticulum, rough endoplasmic reticulum, golgi apparatus, etc. If the ribosomes is not functioning perfectly, the protein synthesis can not be completed, thus, all cell's organelle working together on a specific process must function optimally individually and work together as a team in order to execute the process.

Which is the least important base in the anticodon? (Remember to count 5' to 3'!)
enyata [817]

Answer:

c

Explanation:

<em>The least important base in the anticodon is the third base. </em>

<u>The first two bases of anticodons largely determine the amino acid that would be formed in most cases. The third base can be any of the purine or pyrimidine bases and the amino avid would remain the same.</u> For example, the anticodon UCA, UCG, UCC, and UCU all code for the amino acid Serine.

The correct option is, therefore, c.
