Emerson talks about 'Self-Reliance' and his perspective towards achieving it in different situations. When he states about techniques and gives references for the ideology that he believes in, he also uses imagery for us to understand the agenda of his explanation.

Explanation:

Emerson's point of view about self-reliance is creative. He compares it with 'individualism', where a person, who starts to be unique, creative and develops his own way of life, deals with circumstance in a different and more approachable way rather than following the same old format or an already developed format, is a person who can be 'self-reliant'.

His reference to Moses, Plato, Milton is what we can learn from in these paragraphs. Their unique thoughts on dealing with life and finding new strategies over improving a condition, their techniques transformed into actions and put forth to people is what made them 'indivialistic', truthful and unique.

To trust our intuitions more than the history or knowledge that was already developed is what Emerson wants us to understand in this text.

The characters in the passage  <em>Five Weeks in a Balloon </em>are three men who travel across Africa with the aid of a hydrogen-powered balloon. Their discussion during the trip was quite lively. Dr. Ferguson controlled the aircraft. When Kennedy also suffered a fever, the doctor reassured him that he would be fine in some time and he did recover from his fever in a short while.

Joe was in an exciting spirit as they traveled and Dr. Ferguson because of his travel wisdom told Kennedy that they could not touch the breakers. He made his statements as a person with insight.

Aunt something, is one of my favorite aunts out of my family, even though I don't see her that much since she doesnt come to visit that often, but when she does I make the most of my time with her,you could say I may know her a little too much but we enjoy our time together.Her favorite color is  ____ rather then mine,which is _____,and the one year for her birthday/christmas present I got her a _____ colored blanket that she loved! Until my younger sibling gave her a card that had 20 dollars in it.Still to this day wondering where she got that money.But other then her birthday/christmas, when she does come to visit we mostly spend our time either, baking,reading,or playing games.I will admit that yes, I hate it when other family is around when she comes, it becomes like she rather spend time with my older/younger cousin/sibling  then me, I love my aunt but I hope someday she will notice me as much as I notice her.

The arrangement of this statement reveals the founders’ belief that individual rights pre-exist the establishment of a government-- a radical notion at the time.  The Declaration begins, “We hold these truths to be self-evident…”  By referring to the aspects of the subsequent statement as "self-evident truths," the founders insist that they do not merely apply to colonists but rather that they are universal.  Included in these universal truths is the idea, “that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”  This bold assertion insists that no one life is more valuable than the next, and that—by virtue of sharing the same rights—no individual has the authority to rule over or oppress another.
