Alliteration is a term that describes a literary stylistic device. Alliteration occurs when a series of words in a row (or close to a row) have the same first consonant sound. Forexample, “She sells sea-shells down by the sea-shore” or “Peter Piper Picked a Peck of Pickled Peppers” are both alliterative<span> phrases.

In your own words, define the meaning of ‘cyclical structure’ and explain what is meant by contrasting beginnings and openings.
ss7ja [257]
Basically you have a motif of something eg fruit. Then that motif gets repeated at the end. So even if you have a contrasting beginning and end you can still have like a sentence that repeats cyclically eg ‘humanity can be saved’ or something like that.

A theme or motif or phrase etc that recurs or goes back to the beginning, at the end

cyclical structure is like when when the end situations are in some way the same as they are at the beginning.

It can foreshadow or make you sort of guess what might happen at the end

What do the veils in "Lost llusions" symbolize?
stepan [7]

Answer:

The veils in “Lost Illusions” symbolize innocence and ignorance. The narrator of the poem describes the veils as being part of her “far away youth,” suggesting that now she is older and wiser. However, aging has only made her yearn to reclaim the ignorance of her youth, for with wisdom has come sadness and harsh realities.
