The answer is the following:

Friar Laurence: He hopes that the marriage of Romeo and Juliet will end the hatred between the Montagues and the Capulets.

He agrees to marry Romeo and Juliet, and tries to help them to come together through the use of a sleeping potion, which finally determines their fate.

Mercutio: He is disgusted by Romeo’s refusal to fight when challenged and dies cursing the Montagues and Capulets for his fate.

Romeo's close friend, he makes fun of romatic feelings and ends up blaming both families for his death.

Lord Capulet: He is the head of a powerful family. He threatens to disown his only child for rejecting an arranged marriage.

Juliet's father wishes that she marries Paris.

Prince Escalus: He is the ruling authority of Verona. He decides that Romeo will not be executed but only banished for killing Tybalt.

Since he is a friend of Mercutio and Paris, the Prince does not carry out a death sentence againt Romeo, but is concerned with keeping Verona free from violence and disturbance.

Which of the following is an example of indirect characterization?
Rashid [163]

You didn't give me any possible answers to work with, so I'm just going to explain indirect characterization and give an example...

Indirect characterization is the process through which traits of a character are revealed through their speech, actions, appearance, etc. These traits are not directly given by the narrator.

Example of indirect characterization:

 • As Mindy waited for her friend, Charlotte, by her locker, she tapped her foot quickly and glanced around.

This indirectly shows that Mindy is impatient.^^^

If your argument is that he did actual harm, saying that he didn't discover the Americas could be included in the fact that he disturbed natives to the land perhaps.

When aminianadad says if she were my wife if never part with that birthmark
IrinaVladis [17]
Aminadab is a total oddball character. There isn't a whole lot of text devoted to him in "The Birthmark," but what is there speaks volumes. Hawthorne describes Aminadab as "a man of low stature, but bulky frame, with shaggy hair hanging about his visage, which was grimed with the vapors of the furnace" . He is actually a little creepy, if not vaguely sinister. We learn that he isn't capable of understanding the science behind Aylmer's work, but that he can execute all the physical details easily. And then, of course, we have the very direct line.
