Theoretical probability is what u expect to happen...although it might not happen that way. The theoretical probability of spinning a coin 100 times and it landing on heads is 50%...and 50% of 100 = 50....so would expect it to and on heads 50 times.
The experimental probability is what actually happens...the experimental probability when spinning a coin 100 times and it landing on heads 38 of those times = 38/100 = 0.38 = 38%

Hey there, Lets solve this problem together.

Theoretical Probability of an event is the number of ways that the event can occur, divided by the total number of outcomes.

We have 2 faces (head and tail) so therefore 2 possible cases, furthermore, we have 1 favorable case, namely the outcome head.

= p = Favorable / Possible (Cases)

Therefore the theoretical probability, would be for the coin to land 50 times on heads and 50 times and tail.

Since Gina spins a penny 100 times, We have a even amount of probability.

We know that - Heads = 38/100

All of the rest 62 will be tails because 38 + 62 = 100 = 1 Whole

Therefore - Tails = 62/100

What is the value of n in the equation 0.2(n - 6) = 2.8?
(1) 8 (3) 20
(2) 2 (4) 44
Vera_Pavlovna [14]
So,

0.2(n - 6) = 2.8

Distribute.
0.2n - 1.2 = 2.8

Add 1.2 to both sides.
0.2n = 4

Divide both sides by .2.
n = 20

Check.
0.2(20 - 6) = 2.8

Simplify inside parentheses.
0.2(14) = 2.8

Multiply.
2.8 = 2.8 This checks.

S = {2.8}

A parabola intersects the xxx-axis at x=3x=3x, equals, 3 and x=9x=9x, equals, 9.
vekshin1

Answer:

x^2-12x+27 =0

Step-by-step explanation:

Given a Parabola that intersects the x-axis at x=3 and x=9.

I presume you want to determine the equation of the parabola.

You can use this form:

Given roots of a parabola, the equation of the parabola is derived using the formula:

x^2-($Sum of Roots)x+Product of Roots =0\\Since roots are 3 and 9, the equation becomes:\\x^2-(3+9)x+(3X9) =0\\x^2-12x+27 =0

The equation of the parabola is:

x^2-12x+27 =0

*percentage help please*
erica [24]

Answer:

15.84%

Step-by-step explanation:

There is no formula that will tell you the interest rate. It must be computed iteratively or found graphically. A financial calculator can do the work for you.

The parameters this one uses are

 • number of payments (24)
 • the amount financed (1925 -125 = 1800)
 • the monthly payment, negative because it is being paid (-88.00)
 • the remaining balance after all payments (0)
 • the number of payments per year (monthly = 12)
 • the number of times per year interest is compounded (monthly = 12)
