steve desposite $1800 per month in his saving bank account. If thi is 20% of the monthly income, find his monthly income
Vikki [24]

Step-by-step explanation:

Hey there!

The amount deposited= $1800

And it's just 20% of total monthly amount.

Let total amount be "x".

Then;

$1800 = 20% of X

1800 =  \frac{20}{100}  \times x

or, 180000= 20x

or, X = 180000=/20

Therefore, total monthly amount or income was $9000.

HELP ASAP Linear Equations
Scilla [17]

Answer:

4th choice: I and IV only

Step-by-step explanation:

Change the form of the given equation to standard form.

y = -2/3 x + 2

3y = -2x + 6

2x + 3y = 6

Now compare this equation with the 4 choices.

Any equation that has the same x- and y-terms but a different constant term is parallel.

I. is parallel.

II. and III. are not parallel.

Look at IV.:

4x + 6y = 3

Divide both sides by 2:

2x + 3y = 3/2

IV. is also parallel.

Answer: 4th choice: I and IV only

Let x = months

so we know that price of software package is $20
Now we need to find x the price of one month

we know that Angie and Kenny spent 115 total

Angie: 20 + 3x ( one software pack + 3(price of one month)
Kenny: 20+ 2x ( one software pack + 2( price of one month)

So Angie + Kenny = $ 115

20 + 3y + 20 + 2y = 115

combine like terms and solve for x. That will give you the cost of one month

40 + 5x = 115
-40 -40

5x= 75
5x/5 = 75/5

x=15

Vonda works between 30 and 32 hours per week at a hair salon. She pays a one time $250 chair rental fee, and earns $40 per hour
Vlad1618 [11]

Answer:

The practical domain of the function is [30,32].

Step-by-step explanation:

The given function is

p(h)=40h-250

where, p(h) represents the Vonda's weekly pay as a function of hours worked.

She pays a one time $250 chair rental fee, and earns $40 per hour that she works.

Domain is the set of all possible inputs.

The possible domain of the given function is all real numbers but the number of hours can not be negative, therefore  h>0.

It is given that Vonda works between 30 and 32 hours per week at a hair salon. So,

30

Therefore practical domain of the function is [30,32].
