Hey, so I wrote my college essay and one of my friend’s teachers noticed I wrote out “vice president” and she felt it was to be capitalized. But, none of my English teachers pointed it out. So my question is, do I capitalize Vice President if I am referring to a title I hold?

I'm not certain that there's one definite answer to your question as it can technically be up to you based on your writing style. Generally, however, you'll see that the title is usually capitalized in situations like a cover letter or other formal business writings.
