Explain, in detail, about the religion of the Mayans.
aliya0001 [1]

Answer:

Most Maya today observe a religion composed of ancient Maya ideas, animism and Catholicism. Some Maya still believe, for example, that their village is the ceremonial centre of a world supported at its four corners by gods. When one of these gods shifts his burden, they believe, it causes an earthquake. The Mayans religion involved several aspects of nature, astronomy and rituals. Most Gods represented a form in nature, for example, Sun God, Kinih Ahous, or Maize God, Yum Kaax. The Mayans were known for their calenders and astronomical buildings. These were used during their religious rituals.

Why does tubman results undergroud trips worth this risk involved why or why not?
Lynna [10]

Answer:

Harriet Tubman is perhaps the most well-known of all the Underground Railroad's “conductors.” During a ten-year span, she made 19 trips into the South and escorted over 300 slaves to freedom. And, as she once proudly pointed out to Frederick Douglass, in all of her journeys she “never lost a single passenger.”  Harriet Tubman, too, believed that all men and women are born free.  Hence, it was worth the risk each time she made a trip to the South to gather slaves.
