The Regency period took place from 1881 to 1820 in the United Kingdom and implied important changes in terms of customs, fashion, politics, society, architecture, etc. Because of this, literary works written during this historical period were mainly novels that focused on elements from romanticism and also features of classes such as the customs, lifestyle, values, etc. of one specific class and the comparison of these features to the ones in other classes.
