Telemedicine is the use of telecommunications technology by health care professionals to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients who are far from them allowing the capture of reading from medical devices at a faraway location. Health care professionals use telemedicine for video and audio consultations, and remote medical diagnosis. Example of a telemedicine device is the fitness tracker which is used in monitoring fitness like heartbeat, calorie consumption and so on.
