Predicting is when you are guessing but with evidence and previous knowledge. Guessing is when you are just guessing randomly ‍♀️ sorry the explanation for guessing is kind of bad

Answer:

The difference between guess and prediction is simple, guess means to conclude without having enough information while prediction has to do with forecasting about future occurrence which are supported by facts and likely figures.

Explanation:

Predictions are used in science but guess is never used because it does not support its claim with enough information. e.g predictions are used for weather condition in science

Alborosie

Answer: 5

Explanation:

Since 1 out of 200 people carry the defective gene that causes inherited colon cancer.

In a sample of 1000 individuals, we say

1 = 200

y = 1000

cross multiply

y x 200 = 1000 x 1

200y = 1000

y = 1000/200

y = 5

Thus, in a sample of 1000 individuals, approximately 5 will be carriers

I believe the answer is “false”. While it’s true that many sea anemone will stay in one spot that they are happy with, it’s not true for all. Many sea anemone move around, especially when they are younger. It’s when they’re older they are more sessile.

How is a scientific law different from a scientific theoryWhat is the difference between inorganic and organic compounds?
wariber [46]

Answer:

  1. A scientific law predicts the results of certain initial conditions. It might predict your unborn child’s possible hair colors, or how far a baseball travels when launched at a certain angle. In contrast, a theory tries to provide the most logical explanation about why things happen as they do.
  2. Organic molecules mainly have covalent bonds whereas, in inorganic molecules, there are covalent and ionic bonds. • Inorganic molecules cannot form long chained polymers as organic molecules do.
