While an app like PhotoMath can be useful, i suggest going and talking to either a friend or teacher who can explain and teach you how to do this. As this is a very broad question it is hard for me to explain exactly how to do it.

Have a nice day !

A square piece of plastic has a perimeter of 8 cm. how long is each side of the piece of plastic?
Aleksandr-060686 [28]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Since it is a square, all four sides are equal and its perimeter is just

P=4s, so if P=8 then

4s=8, dividing each side by 4 we get

s=2

So each side of the plastic square is 2 centimeters.

Two functions are defined as shown.
maxonik [38]

Answer:

Graph (2).

Step-by-step explanation:

Given question is incomplete: Find the complete question in the attachment.

Given : f(x) = -\frac{1}{2}x-2

            g(x) = - 1

To find : The graph showing f(x) = g(x)

If the given functions f(x) = g(x)

-\frac{1}{2}x-2=-1

-\frac{1}{2}x=-1+2

-\frac{1}{2}x = 1

x = -2

That means both the functions have the same value at x = -2

f(-2) = g(-2) = -1

In other words, both the lines will intersect at a point (-2, -1).

From the given graphs,

Graph number (2) shows the required results.

A straight line g(x) = -1 parallel to x- axis and another straight line f(x) = -\frac{1}{2}x-2, intersect each other at (-2, -1).

Therefore, Graph (2) will be the answer.

Can someone explain to me how to do this
harkovskaia [24]
Copy the expression.
Then copy the expression again, but replace c with 8.
Then do the operations.

7/8 * c =

= 7/8 * 8

= 1/8 * 7 * 8

= 1/8 * 8 * 7

= 1 * 7

= 7
