Answer:

loss aversion

Explanation:

In cognitive psychology or behavioural economics or decision theory, loss aversion refers to the tendency of people to prefer not to lose something than to gain the equivalent amount if that thing. For example : it is better to not lose $100 than to find $100. Losses are felt more than gains are felt. in other words we gain a small utility when we actually gain compared to how the loss we feel when we actually lose. It is a very important principle in the domain of economics.

Answer:d. Labeling theory.

Explanation:

Labeling theory states that when we label people with certain names they begin to act according to those labels that we give them. It usually used in criminal sociology where there is a concern that words such as calling someone a criminal may lead to them adopting a criminal lifestyle because that how they are labelled, due to the fact that when we label them this way people start to associate them with criminal activities hence they may feel maybe they should commit a crime because they are already considered as one.

Scott was labelled a problem child because his brother was one and he surely began to believe that and identifed with it because everyone called him that as a result he even dropped out of school as stated by labelling theory; how we label others may negatively result to them becoming exactly what we call them even if they were not that.

How did Peter The Great deserving of his " Great " title? Explain your answer.
alex41 [277]
By the mere fact that he took a relative 'weak, old, peasant nation (Tsardom)' and transformed it into a massive, modernized powerhouse that has had a major influence on the course of European, Middle-Eastern and Asian history for well over 350 years, I think he does deserve the title of being The Great. He established one of the greatest empire in world history. To his merits include: found Saint-Petersburg,defeat Sweden, which conclude Swedish efforts to conquer other lands. I sure but for Peter, Russia wouldn't have returned on Baltic shore.

Not saying that he was probably full of fallacies and the cause of many wrongful deaths, the legacy that his 40 year reign left behind is (at least to me) worthy of being called The Great.
