-2x + y = 7

 y = 2x + 7

When x = -1; y = 2(-1) + 7 = 5

When x = 0, y = 7

when x = 1, y = 2(1) + 7 = 9

Now you have 3 coordinate points, you can graph the function

(0, 7),   (-1 , 5),   (1, 9)

Ted is making trail mix for a party .He mixes 1/1/2cups of nuts,1/4 cup of raisins,and 1/4 cup of pretzels.How many cups of pret
balandron [24]

Answer:

1.875 or 1\frac{7}{8} cups of pretzel

Step-by-step explanation:

The number of cups needed is equivalent to the probability of pretzel in the mix times the number of cups in the mix.

-The probability of pretzel is :

P(pretzel)=\frac{0.2}{0.25+0.25+1.5}\\\\=0.125

We multiply this probability by the number of cups of the mix:

=P(pretzel)\times (mix \ cups)\\\\=0.125\times 15\\\\=1.875 \ or \ 1\frac{7}{8}

Hence, 1.875 or 1/7/8 cups of pretzel is needed.

Jimmy is a carpenter. The graph shows the number of chairs that he assembles and the amount of time it takes him.
alexdok [17]

Answer:

36 chairs assembled

Step-by-step explanation:

I don't think that the equation you gave, c = h, is accurate based on the graph.  Based off the graph, I will make a different equation.

c = 8h

c = (8)(4.5)

c = 36
