Answer:

The correct answer would be up for debate but it can be said that they hurt a lot of people but they were also good in the history of the US.

Explanation:

Robber Barons was a slur term which was used to describe the many newly rich industrialists of the United States in the early part of the 19th century.

Many of these people were immensely rich, well connected with politicians and held solid monopolies in the business sectors they operated in.

Some were able to develop generations of well-known family wealth.

While they are remembered for hoarding money and using unethical and at many times criminal ways to build their businesses, at the end, they were also responsible for providing thousands of jobs, millions and taxation and helped to foster an export industry which made the United States the largest economy in the world by the 20th century.

Does it matter if someone does bad? of course it does and if these people were alive today, they would surely be brought to justice.
