<em>Five things that are responsible for soil erosion are as follows: </em>

1.<u> </u><u>Deforestation</u><u>: </u>

  • Trees and plants behaves like a  natural barrier. They slow water as it runs off the land. Roots hold together the soil and prevent it from eroding away. The loss of vegetation leads to the erosion of the topsoil quickly

2.<u> </u><u>Dams</u><u>: </u>

  • Building dams results in soil erosion as the top and middle layer of soil endure extreme pressure from water and concrete. When the water is released, the force of water washes a high amount of soil away.

3. <u>Plastic</u><u>: </u>

  • The basic evil of mankind is plastic which gets mixed with soil and causes the cohesion of the soil to down resulting in erosion.

4. <u>Crop</u><u> </u><u>rotation</u><u>: </u>

  • It harm the cohesion, again causing the soil erosion.

5.<u> </u><u>Wind</u><u>: </u>

  • The wind is a basic reason behind would erosion, which removes the top layer of soil.
