kumpel [21]

Answer:

the theory that individuals, groups and peoples are subject to the same Darwinian laws of natural selection as plants and animals .

Explanation:

  • therefore another word for darwinism is adaptation . in my understanding social darwinism is a loose set ideologies that emerged in the late 1800s by which Charles Darwin’s natural selection was used to justify political , social / economic views . Social Darwinists believe in the idea of “ survival of the fittest ” , that certain people become powerful in society because they are innately better . Social Darwinism has been used to justify imperialism , racism , eugenics and social inequality at various times over the past century and a half . this has not only been proclaimed yet proven too .
