Answer:

North America is rich in wilderness, biodiversity and natural beauty. The region is a global leader in innovation and action. The U.S. and Canada face growing environmental challenges—including climate change, marine debris and unsustainable production and consumption.

Explanation:

Nearly every region of the world has influenced American culture, most notably the English who colonized the country beginning in the early 1600s. U.S. culture has also been shaped by the cultures of Native Americans, Latin Americans, Africans and Asians.

Which is not a push factor in migration
konstantin123 [22]

A strong fortified settlement is not the push factor in migration

Explanation:

There is difference between a push and a pull factor. Push factor is the cause which forces a person to leave the country in search of better living. Depletion of resources, war and famine are some of the push factors.

Pull factors are the aspects which pulls or attracts the migrated people into the land due to the abundance of natural resources, better living conditions, employment opportunities, educational opportunities and practicing religious freedom. These are various pull factors which allures the people for migration. African Americans migrated from the southern states to union in search of better living conditions and industrialization which opened huge employment opportunities.

In what way were the Maya different from the Aztec and Inca civilizations?
seraphim [82]
A. The Aztec and Inca had large, united empires, but the Maya did not. The Mayan region was divided into several independent city-states, some of which became powerful. A king ruled each city-state and served as the head of the government, military, and religion. Each king had a court of followers and was advised by a council. To avoid war, kings often acted as diplomats as they formed alliances with other city-states. However, diplomacy often failed and, as a result, war between city-states was common. The city-state structure of the Maya prevented them from uniting into an empire.
