The company should charge/average premium: At the very least, the amount that the company should charge as an average premium for each person in the 16-21 group is $1100.  In this way, it will not lose or gain money on its claims costs.  It’s quite probable that the company will charge more, moving from break-even to profit.

Company charge of $50 profit:Well, what have you done on this? You can't just post a problem and expect people to do it for you! If "occurence A" happens to 2 out of every 100 customers, and the insurance company pays out $1000 for every occurence, what is the expected payout? What is the expected payout per policy? Now add costs and profit to that.

Hope this helped.

If a coin has been altered so that the probability of heads coming up is 3/10, then the probability of tails coming up is also 3
soldier1979 [14.2K]
False. In a coin, there are 2 possible out comes i.e. a head and a tail. if p is the probability of one side coming up, then the probability of the other side comin up will be q = 1 - p.

Therefore, if the probability of head coming up is 3/10, the probability of tail coming up will be 1 - 3/10 = 7/10.

Find the total surface area of the figure below:
kow [346]

Answer:

95

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula -

Triangle Area - 1/2bh

Square - l x w

Triangle - 5 x 7 = 35/2 = 17.5

Since there are four triangle, we will multiply 17.5 x 4 which is equal to 70

Square  - 5 x 5 = 25

Now we add both 70 and 25 which is 95

So the total surface area is 95
