It believes that people's actions reflect who they are without considering the role of the situation or environment.

Here, Irv was suffering from flu and not well which described his situation. But the teacher still ignored these factors and blamed Irv's poor performance in test on his personality and behaviour. He assumed that Irv did not study on purpose and was a lazy student which in fact was not true hence he teacher is displaying fundamental attribution error or correspondence bias.
