The domain of the expression is all real numbers except where the expression is undefined. In this case, there is no real number that makes the expression undefined.<span>(<span><span>−∞</span>,∞</span>)</span><span>{<span>q|q∈R}</span></span>

According to the 2000 Census the population of Canton was 7,720. Holly Spring's population was 3,200. Canton's population increa
Kazeer [188]
Firstly, the rate of increase of Canton = 80/7720 = 0.010
The rate of increase of HP = 120/3200 = 0.0375
Apply  the formula of compound interest==> A =A'(1+i)^n
The population will be equal when the following equality is satisfied

7720(1+0.01)^n = 3200(1+0.0375)^n

or

7720x1.01^n = 3200x1.0375^n

Divide both sides by 3200 ===>(193/80)x1.01^n=1.0375^n

erastova [34]

Answer:

-3y^2 + y + 100

Step-by-step explanation:

Combine like terms.

-3y+4y = 1y or "y"

Add "y" back into the equation.

-3y^2 + y + 100

The equation cannot be simplified any further.

I hope this helped!

Greg swam 4 kilometers against the current in the same amount of time it took him to swim 16 kilometers with the current. The ra
ad-work [718]

Answer:

5 kmph

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: Greg swam 4 kilometers against the current.

Greg swam 16 kilometers with the current.

Rate of the current was 3kmph.

Lets assume the speed of greg swimming with no current be "x".

∴ Speed of swimming against current= (x-3)\ kmph

Speed of swimming with current= (x+3)\ kmph

As given, it took same amount of time to swim both with current and against current.

∴ Forming an equation to find the value of x, which is speed of greg swimming with no current.

We know, Time= \frac{Distance}{Speed}

⇒ \frac{4}{(x-3)} = \frac{16}{(x+3)}

Multiplying both side by (x+3) and (x-3)

⇒4\times (x+3)= 16\times (x-3)

Using distributive property of multiplication.

⇒ 4x+12= 16x-48

Subtracting both side by 4x and adding by 48.

⇒60= 12x

Dividing both side by 12

⇒x= \frac{60}{12} = 5\ kmph

Hence, Greg can swim at the rate of 5kmph with no current.
