Lincoln Steffens was considered a reformer because his wokerd expose problems in business and government. <span>Because of his job as a police reporter, Steffens was able to publicized different corruption happening in the US. He wrote the book “Shame of the Cities” where he had exposed some of the biggest corruption cases in the United States</span>
