The federal constitution is written to ensure that the power is distributed among all the areas and the government is divided into sub branches where each of the branch is specified to carry out a particular task.

These division of branches include:

(i) Legislative branch,

(ii) Executive branch; and

(iii) Judicial branch

The executive branch is mainly responsible to carry out and enforce the laws and is lead by the President of the United States.

While legislative branch and judicial branch are responsible for creating and interpreting the laws respectively.
