Which theory suggests that hypnosis involves inducing someone to enact the role of a hypnotic subject?
larisa [96]

Answer:

Social influence theory

Explanation:

Kelman's social influence theory suggests that the attitude, behavior and personal belief of a person are based on the concepts of compliance, identification, and internalization. Th resultant actions are therefore a shadow of these processes and concepts. Here, it is suggested that hypnosis involves inducing someone to enact the role of a hypnotic subject which involves the idea of social compliance and then social identification and internalization that they are being hypnotized. Hence, the theory says that hypnosis is a result of external social factors.

Q5. Sophie is preparing a qualitative research plan for her study that explores the stories of young cancer survivors. Of the fo
oee [108]

Answer: 3. A section that demonstrates the relevance of the study.

Explanation:

To write a justification for the your qualitative research, one need to first and foremost write a background on what all research has been done on the research topic. This is followed by questions like "what gap should be filled?", ''what is missing? '', '' what are the open questions of the study? ''. Identify the gaps in the literature and emphasize why it is important to address those gaps. This would in one way or the other point out the relevance of the research study. This should be included in Sophie's research plan. This justification or rationale determines the underlying basis for carrying out the research, aims of the research and what Sophie proposes to do. This is a very important aspect of research plan.
