Firstly simplify both sides
using distributive terms
(-8)(2)+(-8)(-3w)+-5w
=-16+24w+-5w
combine like terms
-16+24w+-5w
=(24w+5w)+(-16)
=19w+-16
the answer is 19w+ -16
