What is the question? If you're looking for percentages then 76% of the of the adults thought the park should be expanded, 60% of the adults that wished for the park to be expanded were parents, the other 16% were adults without children, and 83% of the total parents wished for the park to expand (this isn't in reference to all of the adults, only to the parents.)

Given a pair of similar triangles, find the missing length x and the missing angles A, B, and C.
Nimfa-mama [501]

find the ratio between the two triangles:

40 on the left corresponds to 50 on the right = 40/50 = .8

.8 is the fixed ratio between these two triangles.

to find x:

43 x .8 = 34.4

x = 34.4

"angles of similar triangles are always congruent."

a: 63

b: 88

What equation is equivalent to x2 + 20x + 81 = -27? Can you show me how you got the answer please
Alla [95]

The equivalent equation is x² + 20x = -102

Simplification of quadratic equation

The equivalent equation can be obtained by factorizing or simplifying the given quadratic equation as shown below;

x² + 20x + 81 = -21

collect similar terms together

x² + 20x + 81 + 21 = 0

x² + 20x + 102 = 0

The equation can also be written as x² + 20x = -102

Thus, the equivalent equation is x² + 20x = -102

Find the area of a circle with a diameter of 14 meters. Round your answer to the nearest hundredth of a square meter. *
erica [24]

Answer:

The area of the circle is 153.94m²

Step-by-step explanation:

radius = half of diameter

d = diameter

r = 14m / 2 = 7m

To solve this problem we need to use the area formula of a circle:

a = area

r = radius = 7m

π = pi

a = π * r²

we replace with the known values

a = π * (7m)²

a = π * 49m²

a = 153.93804 m²

Round to the nearest hundredth

a = 153.93804m² = 153.94m²

The area of the circle is 153.94m²
