In referring to the deportations during the Armenian genocide, what does correspondent Henry Wood say was the “terrible feature
WARRIOR [948]

Answer:

The separation of the little children from their mothers

Explanation:

The Armenian genocide was performed in multiple steps and by using multiple different methods. The Armenians were systemically killed, mostly the men, dispersed throughout the country and put to live in the most inhospitable places, being separated from their families etc. The most terrible feature though from the genocide, according to Henry Wood but also by many others, was the separation of the infants and very little children from their mothers. They were taken away and moved into areas far away, never to be able to get in touch again, and this kind of cruelty was really monstrous from the Ottomans.

Why were the Japanese Americans relocated to 10 internment camps?
Setler [38]

Japanese internment camps were established during World War II by President Franklin Roosevelt through his Executive Order 9066. From 1942 to 1945, it was the policy of the U.S. government that people of Japanese descent would be interred in isolated camps. Enacted in reaction to Pearl Harbor and the ensuing war, the Japanese internment camps are now considered one of the most atrocious violations of American civil rights in the 20th century.
