Answer:

The line which shows that Lincoln believed the Union was forced into the war to ensure that the country remained united is "Both parties deprecated war; but one of them would make war rather than let the nation survive; and the other would accept war rather than let it perish. And the war came".

Explanation:

'Abraham Lincoln' in his 'Second Inaugural Address' expressed that the main reason for the war was slavery. He said that war was God's punishment to slavery that has been practiced for so long both by South and North Americans. This punishment would end only when the nation as a whole stands united against slavery.

In the lines which show that Lincoln believed that Union was forced into the war. They depict that both the parties condemned war but to keep the nation united, war had to happen.

Which two parts of this passage demonstrate the use of the bandwagon technique to persuade readers? Mother Nature Needs Your Hel
Stels [109]

One part is "Unless we start listening to Mother Nature and start taking care of our lush, green planet, our world as we know it will not be around much longer." It can make the reader seem worried for the planet because they live on it and it not being around much longer than where will they go? It makes them want to help for the sake of them selves. As well as "Every part of nature is being depleted by overuse and lack of care, and no one seems concerned." People don't want to be know as "the bad guys" so they want to start helping so they won't be put into the horrible people title.

What is a good thesis statement for people that are against book becoming banned?
julsineya [31]
You could start it with a question.
Like... “Is it right for a certain book to be banned because of a valid reason?” Or “Is it right to ban ANY sort of book from the public?”

Make the reader want to continue reading. Your thesis is supposed to catch the attention of someone.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need more ideas!
