English

Answer:

First, a quick introduction.

Unrestricted thesis is a vary broad thesis that doesn't provide one clear topic to debate on.

Unlike this, restricted thesis is the one that is much more specific and narrower.

"Classical music is the basis for most rock music" leaves us on a to broad field for debate. There are countless ways this can be revised into restricted thesis. One can be more specific about what aspect of classical music, or which composer provided this basis. Also one could be more specific about genres of rock influenced by classical music etc.

For example, one of the possible revisions could be:

Mozart's chord progression provided a pattern that influenced classic rock bands.

This is now much more specific topic (restricted thesis) for debate.

How does the narrator feel about washing and tying her husband’s turbans?<br><br> Montreal 1962.
Radda [10]

Answer:

She felt proud and also felt closer to her own heritage and home.

Explanation:

<em>Montreal 1962</em> is a short story by Shauna Singh Baldwin, recollecting her first experience of being a Sardar's wife in a foreign land. She recounts how her husband was asked to remove his hair and turban to be employed.

The short story delves into how she, as a Sardar's wife, felt about her husband's predicament on being asked to be 'normal' like the Canadians and get rid of his natural identity- the turban and his hair and be clean-shaven. While her husband was out working, she took upon herself to wash and then work on even trying to tie a turban, like her husband and others must have done before her. And in the process, she began to understand the significance and even the cultural significance of the turban. She felt that it is what makes them “them”, declaring that she will not let their tradition and culture be taken away from them.

She came to the realization of the turban's significance in their lives and decides to stand by him no matter what happens. She will work for her hands and help him to tie his turban, and then she <em>"will have taught Canadians what it takes to wear a turban". </em>

How do text features contribute to a text’s structure? Check all that apply.
goldfiish [28.3K]
The correct answer are the following ones:
1. by offering supplemental information
3. by providing organization
5. by reinforcing ideas

This is how text features contribute to a text's structure. They give enough information about the text itself. They organize the text in such a way that it is more understandable. They also support your main arguments in the text itself.
