In order to find this, lets work it.

This means that our equation will look like:

5+3+x=12

Lets combine like terms.

8+x=12.

We now must subtract 8 from both sides.

x=4.

This means Evan will need to run 4 miles on Thursday to meet his goal.

Your answer is: D) 4 miles

gregori [183]
For 12 Pounds (= 12 * 16 = 192 Ounce), it costs = 18.75

So, for 1 Ounce, it would be: 18.75 / 192 = 0.097

In short, Your Answer would be: $0.097

Hope this helps!

Chad bought a box of raisins. he gave 1/6 of it to one brother, 1/4 to another brother, and he kept the rest for himself. what f
fenix001 [56]
Greetings!

This can be solved by creating a simple equation.
1/4+1/6+x=1

Solve for x.
1/4+1/6+x=1
Find the LCM.
3/12+2/12+x=1
5/12+x=1
Add -5/12 to both sides.
(5/12+x)+(-5/12)=(1)+(-5/12)
Simplify.
x=1/1-5/12
Find the LCM.
x=12/12-5/12
x=7/12

He kept 7/12 of the raisins for himself.

Hope this helps.

Can someone help mr in this multi answer question
Oksana_A [137]

Answer:

A, C and D

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y - intercept )

here m = - 3, thus

y = - 3x + c ← is the partial equation

To find c substitute (- 1, 4) into the partial equation

4 = 3 + c ⇒ c = 4 - 3 = 1

y = - 3x + 1 ← in slope- intercept form → C

Add 3x to both sides

3x + y = 1 ← in standard form → A

-----------------------------------------------------------

The equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y - b = m(x - a)

where m is the slope and (a, b) a point on the line

here m = - 3 and (a, b) = (- 1, 4), thus

y - 4 = - 3(x + 1) ← in point- slope form → D
