Explanation: The main difference in the two paragraphs is the point of view. The first paragraph is shown through the POV of the man (Louis) and the second paragraph shows the POV of Emma.

The setting of the story is the same so that cannot be the answer. The type of literature the story is presented is also the same. I see no major difference in the passages except for the change in POV.
