The similarities of Your net truths speech and Chisholm speech:

1. Both were African American woman's
2. Faced discrimination by local white people and dealt with segregation
3. Both were slaves
4. Both stood for equal rights from the society that promoted segregation so they both fought for freedom and equal opportunities

Differences:

1. Sojourner speech was in Ohio in 1851
Shirley Chisholm in 1969 approx like 22 or 23 years later
2. Chisholm was intelligent to know that discrimination against black people isn't right on the suppose freedom that America can offer
3. Chisholm viewed the society was built on a unfair system that was built on prejudices
