The most familiar non-vascular plants that contain simple conducting cells are Mosses. Most non vascular are bryophytes and are small in size, they lack vascular tissues and also lack true leaves, seeds, and flowers. What does it mean when scientists say that living organisms share a universal genetic code?
lesya [120]
When scientists say they share a universal genetic code it means that all organisms it can mean either DNA as the main source of hereditary information in all life forms we know of  or more likely that all organisms we know of use a three base pair code for the synthesis of proteins, DNA produces mRNA. This mRNA is read three base pairs at a time by a ribosome and this is called the genetic code.

Rna in cells differs from dna in that ___________________. select one:
irinina [24]
Hello!

RNA in cells differs from DNA in that it is single-stranded and can fold up into a variety of structures.

RNA is the abbreviation for RiboNucleic Acid. It is a biological molecule that fulfills an important role by copying the information stored in the DNA (DeoxyriboNucleic Acid) and transporting it to the different proteins by folding into different shapes. Its name come from a Ribose molecule that is present in this single-stranded molecule.

Viruses don't have DNA, only RNA. They only replicate in the host's cells by copying their own RNA information.

Have a nice day!
