It can be argued that conflict between the english settlers and local indians in virginia became inevitable when:
trasher [3.6K]

The English settlers and local Indians in Virginia were bound to have conflict because English colonists began to build permanent societies in Native American land.

The first permanent settlement in the New World for England was built in Jamestown Virginia. A group of over 100 English men came to North America for new economic opportunities. However, they did not anticipate conflict with the Native Americans. This all changed when the Native Americans saw that the English were establishing their own village. This caused tension between the two, as these Native Americans (the Powahatan Confederacy) had been in this area for a significant amount of time.

How did imperialism affect the growth and development of african nations?
Alja [10]
As the control by the British in India was becoming stronger and stronger, Indians started to being disappointed about it. They began not to like the situation that it was starting in India by the British, they controlled the economy, they had effects in religion and even established English as their national language. So, slowly people started to unify and wanted to get modernized. Nationalistic feeling started to surface and people started to realize that the system that they were leaving in was not fair for them as it did not give them the right opportunities. That is why they unified, the British imperialism made them outreach their religious differences finally and stick together as a group to overcome the British power and have their own system.

Why did the Triple Entente wage a campaign on the Gallipoli peninsula?
kaheart [24]

The Gallipoli Campaign of 1915-16, also known as the Battle of Gallipoli or the Dardanelles Campaign, was an unsuccessful attempt by the Allied Powers to control the sea route from Europe to Russia during World War I. The campaign began with a failed naval attack by British and French ships on the Dardanelles Straits in February-March 1915 and continued with a major land invasion of the Gallipoli Peninsula on April 25, involving British and French troops as well as divisions of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC). Lack of sufficient intelligence and knowledge of the terrain, along with a fierce Turkish resistance, hampered the success of the invasion. By mid-October, Allied forces had suffered heavy casualties and had made little headway from their initial landing sites. Evacuation began in December 1915, and was completed early the following January
