The answer would be c. the treaty of versailles was extremely unfair towards the germans, allowing for the rise of hitler and therefore ww2. germany's invasion of poland created a domino effect: poland's allies declared war on germany, germany's allies declared war on countries that declared war on germany, etc., etc. the failure to smooth out the conflict allowed the war to progress greatly. this only leaves option c. france did not fall until germany invaded in 1940.
