Morphological changes in autism

Medicine

There are no real outward physiological giveaways that someone has autism, say like Down Syndrome for example.

Autistic people look like the people who do not have autism, that is until you get to know someone with autism. That is to say, that autism is a developmental disorder, and so the difference is neurologically, not physically.

So, that means that we must look at the brain.
Autism affects things like your ability to function socially, and have control over one’s emotions.
So, it affects things like the amygdala hippocampal circuit, caudate nuclei, the cerebellum, and the frontotemporal regions of the brain.

Also it is hypothesized that the mirror neurons are damaged in someway. And there tends to be abnormalities in the white matter of the brain, compared to that of a “normal brain”.

I hope that helps.

The ductus arteriosus allows fetal blood to bypass the nonfunctioning fetal liver.
natima [27]

Answer:

The correct option is: b. False

Explanation:

The ductus venosus is one of the three shunts of the fetal circulatory system. It is responsible for providing highly oxygenated blood to the inferior vena cava, followed by the right atrium of the fetal heart. Therefore, the main role of this shunt is to bypass the non-functioning liver of the fetus.

the nurse prepares to administer the haemophilus influenzae type b vaccine to a 4 month old client. the nurse teaches the client
Aleonysh [2.5K]

For a few hours following the vaccination, "monitor your youngster for symptoms of an adverse response."

What is adverse response or an allergic response?

An aberrant immunological reaction is an allergy. The purpose of the human immune system is to defend against external threats, and in individuals with allergies, the immune system will react to allergens (substances that trigger an immune response).

Immune cells will make immunoglobulin E, or IgE, antibodies in response to each allergen. Histamine will be produced by body cells as a result of the antibodies. In order to cause symptoms of an allergic reaction, this histamine will operate on many bodily parts, including the eyes, throat, nose, gastrointestinal tract, skin, or lungs.

The allergic reaction is not constrained to a specific level of exposure. The immune system will respond each time the allergen is present if the body is repeatedly exposed to it.

A client who had coronary artery bypass surgery is exhibiting signs of heart failure. what medications will the nurse anticipate
Tom [10]

Digoxin, diuretics, and IV inotropic drugs are all included in the medical care for heart failure. Due to systolic dysfunction, amlodipine and calcium channel blockers are not used. Nitroprusside is a vasodilator that is not used for heart failure.

What is Sodium nitroprusside?

One drug used to decrease blood pressure is sodium nitroprusside (SNP), which is marketed under the brand names Nitropress and others. This may be done in certain cases of heart failure when the blood pressure is too high and causing symptoms, and after surgery to lessen bleeding. It is administered continuously through a vein. Effects begin almost immediately and might continue for up to ten minutes. It has a history of triggering reflex tachycardia. In critical, urgent situations, it is frequently utilized as the preferred vasodilator. Nitric oxide is released from sodium nitroprusside, activating sodium guanylyl cyclase, which is related to pharmacological activation.
