1) I am pretty sure that the problem which contributed to Rome's transition from a republic to an empire is being revealed by the option one : consuls staying in power too long. I choose this option because only this option is closely connected with main characters from this event : Marius, Sulla, and the Triumvirs.

2) The thing which Julius Caesar did that hastened Rome's transition from a republic to an empire is being shown in the option : He crossed the Rubicon and defeated his enemies. I think this is correct because he let a civil war out towards republic.
Do hope you sill need the answer because this one will definitely help you!

Gwar [14]
Hi. I am not sure if there should be a question or choices included in your post. Just in case there is none, let me go ahead and answer this one for you.

After six months Japanese forces attacked the Philippines in December 1941, Japan was able to make the Philippines surrender. There were thousands of American soldiers and Filipino fighters who starved and General Douglas McArthur do not have enough force to fight against the Japanese. He promised to come back on October of 1944.

100 points!! Describe the Monroe Doctrine. What was its goal?
umka2103 [35]

The Monroe Doctrine is a foreign policy statement that created separate spheres of European and American influence. It was written by James Monroe and John Quincy Adams, and Monroe delivered it to Congress in 1823 on december 2nd

The Monroe Doctrine consists of four main points:

1. The United States would remain neutral in European affairs and not get involved in European conflicts.

2. The United States would not interfere with current European colonies in the Western Hemisphere.

3. No European nation would be allowed to establish a new colony in the Western Hemisphere.

4. If a European nation would try to interfere with a nation in the Western Hemisphere, the United States would view that as a hostile act and respond accordingly.
