Write cos11π18 in terms of the cosine of a positive acute angle.
NNADVOKAT [17]

You have to use the fact that \cos(\pi-x)=-\cos x for any value of x. So

\cos\dfrac{11\pi}{18}=-\cos\left(\pi-\dfrac{11\pi}{18}\right)=-\cos\dfrac{7\pi}{18}

where \dfrac{7\pi}{18} is the positive acute angle you're looking for.

Please help me. thank you so much
Sergio [31]

Answer:

7.5

Step-by-step explanation:

So the constant proportionality is easy, it is the depindent veriable (how much it cost) divided by the independent veriable (how much fabric you have).

Put simply you know how much it will cost if you know how many yards you have. so if i have 2 yards i know it cost 15 dolars.

We could make a simple algebraic expretion that describes the proportionality.

C⁒y=7.5

So 7.5 is our constant, so if you know the cost or how many yards we have we always know what the other is.

So if i had 6.7 yards how much would it cost.

It would cost $50.25, what i did was i multiplied 6.7*7.5(our constant) and we got out cost c. Just to dubble check we can plug it in;

50.25⁒6.7 does=7.5 so it works.
