Woodrow Wilson was the 28th president of the United states.He led the America to the world war 1 after which he played a great role in the peace treaty negotiation which included a plan for the league of nations. Before entering the war, the U.S. had remained neutral, though it had been an important supplier to Great Britain and the other Allied powers.  President Woodrow Wilson asked Congress to declare war against Germany, saying, “The world must be made safe for democracy.” Four days later, Congress voted overwhelmingly in favor of a war declaration.
