Answer:

Atmospheric pressure, solar winds and higher surface temperature.

Explanation:

 • Water on Mars exists in the form of ice and in very small quantities as vapor form found in the shallow martin soil.
 • Place where the frozen ice is visible is the north pole of Mars and evidence says that water is present beneath the carbon dioxide ice cap in south pole. With a pressure of 600 pascals, the pure water would freeze or get vaporised.
 • The atmosphere of Venus consists of 0.002% of water vapor as solar winds blow away the upper atmosphere and thus the water is lost. Venus has a high rate of rotation.
 • About 95% of the surface os covered y the carbon dioxide with a strong temperature variation.

An elevator travels 310 feet in 10 seconds at this that spewd how far can this elevator travel In 12 sec
erik [133]

Distance covered by an elevator = 310 feet.

Time taken to cover 310 feet = 10 seconds.

The rate of the elevator at its run = 310/10 = 31 feet per seconds.

We're trying to find at how many feet an elevator can travel in 12 seconds.

In order to find the distance covered by an elevator in 12 seconds, we need to multiply 12 by the rate of the elevator.

Thus, distance covered by the elevator in 12 seconds = 12 × 31

= 372 feet.

What deos it mean for a satellite to be in geosynchronous orbit
slega [8]
It means that the satellite's orbital period is equal to the Earth's rotation period ... roughly 23 hours 56 minutes 4 seconds ... so that the satellite always stays over the same longitude.

IF that satellite's orbit has also been carefully placed over the equator, THEN the satellite is in a 'geostationary' orbit. It appears motionless in the sky, and can be used to sell 900 channels of TV to people with little dishes that they never need to move.
