Answer:

3√141.

Step-by-step explanation:

We can use the Pythagorean theorem to solve this. Since we know the Hypoteneus and one-side length, we can do:

37²= 10²+x²

Now, find the values of the squares:

1369= 100+x²

1269= x²

We can eliminate the last two answers. Now, we can test between the first and the second choice.

27²≠1269.

Therefore, we get 3√141 as our final answer.

Check this by doing:

√141·9 which gives us √1269.

Answer:

{x}^{2}  +  {10}^{2}  =  {37}^{2}  \\  {x}^{2}  + 100 = 1369 \\  {x}^{2}  = 1369 - 100 \\  {x}^{2}  = 1269 \\ x =  \sqrt{1269}  \\ x = 35.62 \\  \\ 35.62 = 3 \sqrt{141}

The second answer is correct

How do you know whether a number is a multiple of another number
vovikov84 [41]
You would know when one number is also a multiple when the other number is a factor of it as well. For example when we see a prime number like 2, there are  no factors for this number so it is just a multiple of 1 and 2.
However for numbers like 15 and 25.
We would know ( if you have your times tables memorized) that 15 is a multiple of 1,3, and 5 and 15. 25 is a multiple of 1, 5, and 25.
