Hi, angel!

The possible answer choices for this question, if anyone is confused, are listed below:

A. Photosythesis is responsible for providing the oxygen needed for all life forms on earth.

B. Carbon dioxide and oxygen are exchanged by organisms through these two processes: photosynthesis and cellular respiration.

C. Cellular respiration, through the breakdown of glucose, supplies the oxygen needed for aerobic metabolism by most organisms on Earth.

D. Photosynthesis is responsible for the transformation of solar energy into usable chemical energy, glucose, used by most organisms on Earth.

The correct answer to your question is D. Photosynthesis is responsible for the transformation of solar energy into usable chemical energy, glucose, used by most organisms on Earth.

Photosynthesis is a processes in which green plants fixes atmospheric carbon dioxide into carbohydrate using solar energy and oxygen is released as by-product in the process. Oxygen is used by all living cells during cellular respiration for breakdown or oxidize carbohydrate to release energy and carbon dioxide. So, life on earth is largely dependent on these two processes,  thus photosynthesis and respiration are considered as reciprocity for life on earth.

Enzymes and antibodies are examples of (4 points)
Strike441 [17]

Proteins

Explanation:

Proteins are the most diverse biomolecule on earth, performing many functions required for life. Protein enzymes are biological catalyst, maintaining life by regulation where and when cellular reactions occur.

-antibodies are proteins that are synthesized by an animal in response to the presence of a foreign substance in our body called an antigen. They play a great role in the immune system and are usually found in blood and other bodily fluids.

Osmosis occurs when there is a different concentration of solute molecules
mamaluj [8]
The osmotic potential within the cell is greater than the outside because the solution in the cell is less concentrated. Therefore, the water from inside the cell will move outwards due to the difference in potential via the process of osmosis. The cell becomes plasmolysed, or shrinks, due to the loss of water.
