Answer:

Islam spread and Muslims absorbed the legacies of Greek, Chinese, and Indian thought

Explanation:

The expansion from Muslim empires and the creation of their trade connections through European and Asian soil, lead to the spread of their culture, ideology, and knowledge. Their course over the trade routes they established made them interact profoundly with different empires, cultures, and beliefs. Granting them the opportunity to exchange ideas with everyone they interacted with. Producing a spread of Islam in regions of Europe, "The Balcanic states" and Greece in their majority. While in Asia some regions also adopted Islam, India being the more predominant.

But as well as they learned from the Muslims, the Muslims learned from them, adopting beliefs, knowledge, practices and different cultural characteristics to improve theirs.

To explain that the school drills were a (clumsy) attempt to channel the growing insecurity and fear among people in the US. They pretended that an atomic attack could be handled in the same way as a fire or an accident,

Explanation:

The DUCK&COVER school drills were part of a  Federal Civil Defense Administration (FCDA) program (early 50s) that was aiming to educate the public about what ordinary people could do to protect themselves. Many people were intelligent enough to realise that ducking under your table wouldn´t save you from nuclear radiation,

In the poem “There But for the Grace” the poet writes about the role of chance in one’s life. Write an essay analyzing how the p
Marina CMI [18]

Answer: For example, in "There was a rail, a hook, a beam, a brake...", the one-syllable words do create a sense of rhythm while describing several items that only by chance helped some people escape.

In "Because rain fell. Because a shadow fell. Because sunny weather prevailed" there´s an example of assonance, meaning there´s a repetition of vowel sounds with non-rhyming words, that refers to the many different circumstances that became a chance for survival.

Explanation:

The theme in this poem refers to the author, and many others, surviving the Holocaust as a matter of luck and good chances. That´s why a poem full of rhymes that usually provide a cheerful tone, would not be suitable in this case. Other sound devices, such as assonance, prevail.
