we are given

Coach Baron bought 66 pounds of ice cream

so, total amount of ice cream is 66 pounds

firstly , we will change it into ounces

we know that

1 pound = 16 ounces

so,

66*1 pound = 66*16 ounces

66 pounds = 1056 ounces

so,

total amount of ice cream is 1056 ounces

now, we will find total number of people

we have

There are 8 tams , each with 12 people

number of people in each tam is 12

number of tams =8

so,

total number of people = number of tams* number of people in each tam

so, we get

total number of people =12*8

total number of people =96

now, we can find amount of ice cream each person get

Ice cream each person get = (total amount of ice cream)/(total number of people)

so,

Ice cream each person get is

=\frac{1056}{96}

=11

Each person will get ice cream as 11 ounces.........Answer

denis-greek [22]

Answer:

Your answer is 8

Step-by-step explanation:

First you have to convert the mixed number into an improper fraction. To do this, multiply the denominator by the whole number. Then add the numerator and put that answer in a fraction over the original. So it would be 3*5=15+1=16/3. So now that the denominators are the same, all you need to do is see how many times 2 goes into 16. 16/2 which is 8. Answer = 8
