Both used the sun to track the movement of the seasons and time very accurately with intricately made solar calendars using markings made on temple walls.
After the battle of Bunker Hill, Henry Knox was able to help General Washington by coming up with a plan to transfer the guns from Ticonderoga into Boston. Knox gained Washington's favor and was promoted to being a colonel general. By December 1775, Knox was able to bring him 69 guns and ammunition for the troops. This was a crucial step taken towards gaining back Boston from the British.
