The number of quarters . . . . . Q
The value of the quarters . . .  25 Q  cents

The number of dimes . . . . . . . 2 Q
The value of the dimes . . . . . . 10 (2Q) = 20 Q  cents

The total value of all the coins . . .  25Q + 20Q

                                                     =  45Q cents = 4185 cents

Divide each side by  45 cents :          Q        =   93

                                                              2 Q  =   186

Benny has  93 quarters  and  186 dimes.

Check:
               93 quarters are worth  (0.25) x (93)  =   $23.25

              186 dimes are worth    (0.10) x (186)  =  $18.60

Total value of all the coins:   ($23.25) + ($18.60)  =   $41.85        yay !

Answer:

Option C

Step-by-step explanation:

The chi-square test of independence is used to determined whether there is a relationship between two categorical variable which in this study is to establish if there is a relationship between a customer's beverage preference and his/her income class (these are categorical variables).

The null hypothesis would be that no relationship exists between the variables while the alternative would be that there is a relationship between the two variables.

Answer:

$27.5

Step-by-step explanation:

P =$500, R = 11 pcpa, T = 6 months = 1/2 years

I = \frac{PRT}{100} =  \frac{500 \times 11 \times  \frac{1}{2} }{100}  \\  \\  = 5 \times 11 \times  \frac{1}{2}  \\  \\  = 55 \times  \frac{1}{2}  \\  \\  I= \$ 27.5

Taylor and Anya are friends who live 63 miles apart. Sometimes on a Saturday, they ride toward each other's houses on their bike
marishachu [46]

Solutions

Solution: Finding distances first

Since the bike ride took 3 hours, Taylor must have ridden 37.5 miles. Therefore Anya must have ridden 63 - 37.5 - 25.5 miles. If we divide the distance Anya rode by the amount of time it took her to ride, we will get her speed (assuming she rode at a constant speed).

25.5 miles ÷3 hours =8.5 miles per hour.

So if Anya rode at a constant speed, she was traveling 8.5 miles per hour.

Solution: Subtracting Taylor's speed from total speed

The distance between the two friends is decreasing by

63 miles ÷3 hours =21 miles per hour.

Since Taylor rides at 12.5 miles per hour, Anya's speed must be 21 - 12.5 = 8.5 miles per hour. Solutions
