So the trash doesn't pile up in our communities.
Because it's more convenient than doing it yourself.

It help keep waste down that could attract rodents or bugs, which could lead to disease.  Another reason would be that it keeps down the possibility of people burning their garbage/recycling, therefore reducing pollutants in the air.  something else to think about is how much more pleasant the environment is when trash isn't all over the place.  Odors are reduced.  Imagine all the foul odors certain kinds of waste put off as they start to decompose.   Many types of garbage take a number of years to decompose. It's better to have it all in one place...the local dump.

: Explain Beowulf’s reasoning behind the method he will use to fight Grendel. What does this reveal about the relationship betwe
ddd [48]
Beowulf tells Hrothgar that he will fight Grendel with his bare hands, as Grendel doesn't fight with weapons (it seems he can't even be killed with a blade). The only help Beowulf will get is the help of his warriors. Beowulf is aware that the lives of all his warriors are at stake, and anticipates that Grendel will eat them if they fail, but he is still eager to do this. This reveals that the leader is always the first one to fight, in front of his followers. But although he vouches for their lives, they must follow him to death, if need be.
Just like Beowulf is a leader to his warriors, Hrothgar, as a king, is the spiritual leader of the realm. Beowulf yields to him and wants to fight and even die for him, as Hrothgar represents the God's will on Earth. When the realm is physically endangered by a murderous, devilish villain, it means that the God's order on Earth is symbolically endangered, and it takes a hero to restore it.

What is Judson doing with the whiskey?
Monica [59]

Answer:

Judson put in a rat poison into the bottle of whiskey to catch the thief who has been coming to steal it

Explanation:

The story "Ruthless" is about a man named Judson Webb. Judson and his beautiful wife plan on travelling away to another town for the winter.

He has a special safe where he stores his guns, fishing equipment and liquor. Last winter while he was away with his wife someone broke into his house and stole one of his drinks. He has the feeling that the person will attempt to do the same thing this year.

Judson decides to put in a rat poison into one of the open bottle of whiskey inorder to catch the thief. His wife tried to discourage him from doing this but he bluntly refused, she then went outside the house to wait for him to pack up his things.

As Judson was about leaving he remembered that he had forgotten to put his hunting boots into his bag. He went back to get them, as he was about reaching out to get the boots he stepped on an acorn which made him slide and hit his head on the table.

He fell to the ground and was unconscious for some minutes. By the time he woke up he found himself in Alec's arms. Alec is the caretaker who was incharge of watching their houses while they were away.

Alec found the bottle of whiskey on the table and decided to give Judson one glass to revive him. Judson was still not conscious enough to remember that the drink was poisonous. He drank up the glass of whiskey and died immediately.
