Each friend get 1.5 how did they get that?? Simple 6 pieces were handed out which means each friend got 1. There is now 3 left split those 3 in half that gives you 6 halves and you pass those out so now they each got 1.5 pieces

if the side of a square is tripled, how many times the perimeter of the first square will that of the new square be?
Sergio [31]

Answer:

The perimeter of the new square is three times the perimeter of the first one.

Step-by-step explanation:

You just need to put in an example number to figure this out.

Lets say one square has a side of two, and another a side of 6.

Perimeter of square 1: 8

Perimeter of square 2: 24

24 is three times more than 8.

Match the pre-image, and its clockwise rotation, with the coordinates of its image. 1. (5, 2); 90° (-2, -5) 2. (5, 2); 180° (2,
lawyer [7]
1. (2,-5)
2. (-5,-2)
3. (-2,5)
4. (2,5)
5. (5,-2)
6. (-2,-5)
7. (5,2)
8. (-5,2)

Each 90° clockwise turn takes a point (x,y) and transforms it to (y,-x). For a 180° turn you would do this process twice in a row; for a 270° turn, three times in a row.

The table of values below represents a linear function and shows the weight of a kitten as it has grown. what is the output for
rewona [7]
In this question, the weight is going with a pattern of
2 ; 4; 6; 8; 10
0.8 ; 1.4; 2.0; 2.6; 3.2

If you look at it closely, it is clear that the difference for each of them is 2 weeks and 0.6 pounds.
Because the question is asking for initial value, then you need to subtract the first number with the pattern. it would be: 0.8 pound- 0.6 pound= 0.2 pound
