A video that encourages an armed attack on the government

Further Explanation:

Sedition includes subversion of the Constitution and resistance against authority. It does not aim at open violence. A Seditionist is the one who gets engaged in the interest of sedition. Overt acts are prosecutable under the sedition laws. This term first appeared in the Elizabethan era where it means words and writings that show disaffection towards the state authority. In USA president Adams signed the Sedition Act in 1798 that sets the punishment for two years imprisonment if they opposed or resist the laws of the United States. The activities include various writings that were classified as seditious like any false, scandalous writings about any member of the Congress or the President. The act expired in 1801 under the presidency of Jefferson. In Espionage Act which was passed in the year 1917 there was section 3 which made it a federal crime with the punishment up to 20 years and fined up to $10,000 if any person willfully spread any false news about Army. The Act was amended by the Sedition act in 1918 that expanded scope of espionage. The new act includes any statement that criticizes the government to be an act of sedition.

What do the Sixth and Seventh Amendments not grant citizens?
RideAnS [48]

Answer: D. The ability to post bail

Explanation: I think that it is the ability to post bail because the seventh and sixth amendment are the rights to a speedy trial and a right to trial by jury. This crosses out options B and C. It could also be option A but I think that the sixth and seventh amendment also cover that. Hopefully I helped!!

Elanso [62]

It is false that Daniel Webster insisted that the national government had been created by an agreement between sovereign states, each of which retained the right to prevent the enforcement within its borders of acts of Congress that exceeded the powers specifically spelled out in the document.

Answer: Option B

Explanation:

Daniel Webster, an American statesman in United States Congress worked in the United States Secretary. He did not insist the national government created by an agreement between the monarch states. According to him the states individually had right to invalidate the law.

He did not believe that states are superior to the nation. He always had thoughts that rule of law should be followed by everyone and a strong federal government should be built with a sturdy and unchangeable constitution.
